Grant
Lange | Principal
Grant specializes in working with multi-disciplinary groups
to solve complex product line challenges. He has successfully
helped to reposition major outdoor brands through a mixture
of facilitation, strategic thinking, and design savvy. He
has worked with project teams in both large and small companies
to help them develop a better sense of where design fits in
their organizations and, most importantly, how to measure
its success.
Prior to Evidence Studio, Grant was a senior designer at Cascade
Designs, an outdoor products company, and the director of
product development of Allsop/Ohmetric, a consumer electronics
company. He holds degrees in industrial design and structural
engineering, and is a member of the Industrial Designers Society
of America, The Design Management Institute, and the Color
Marketing Group.
In addition to his professional focus, Grant spends time teaching
and lecturing design students about design and product strategy.
He has been an adjunct faculty member of Western Washington
University, and has lectured at both Western Washington University
and the University of Washington.

from the project brief to the manifested creative goal. His
mastery is distilling creative variables into concise and
executable tasks. He has achieved success with Mountain Safety
Research, Therm-a-Rest, SealLine, Platypus, AT&T, and
REI in leading development teams from brand strategy to attaining
marketing goals.
Prior to Evidence Studio, Matt held the roles of Creative
Services Manager at Cascade Designs and Art Director for WhiteRunkle.
Bridging the gap between business and design professionals,
Matt synthesizes strategic goals into visual narratives that
inspire creatives and deliver bottom line results. Charging
forward, he applies a get-it-done work ethic, active listening,
diplomacy, and well-honed organizational skills to deliver
both quality and quantity.
When not focused on marketing communications, Matt can be
found making pictures with camera, paintbrush, and computer
stylus, and participating in local Seattle drawing groups
and the greater West Coast art communities.
